For this single-family residence in West Montreal, I worked on rethinking and optimizing several key spaces to better respond to the occupants’ needs while creating a cohesive and welcoming interior.
The intervention focused on three main elements: the entrance, a dedicated coffee station, and a custom library. The entrance was redesigned as an open and functional space, improving circulation while integrating discreet storage for coats, shoes, and everyday belongings.
I also designed a custom coffee station combining integrated storage with a dedicated space for the coffee machine, cups, accessories, and supplies. For the library, I developed a bespoke architectural structure tailored to the dimensions of the room, providing storage while creating a focal point for the owners’ books and collection of objects.
The project allowed me to explore the relationship between functionality, custom furniture, and interior architecture, creating tailored interventions that enhance both the everyday use and character of the home.
