Paris, France | 2016 | ENSAPLV, Master’s Project | Academic Project
This final-year academic project explored the transformation of the Mobilier National and Galerie des Gobelins in Paris into an immersive public experience, opening one of France’s most prestigious institutions to a wider audience.
The proposal was designed to reveal both the institution’s exceptional collections and the craftsmanship behind them. Visitors move through the spaces while discovering the work of upholsterers, cabinetmakers, and metalworkers, alongside selected pieces from the Mobilier National’s collections.
The project explored the relationship between heritage, craftsmanship, exhibition design, and public circulation, creating a visitor experience that reveals the institution not only as a place of preservation, but also as a living center of French craftsmanship.
